Dauphin County man stabbed, strangled during robbery: Pa. State Police report

During a robbery Dec.

28, a 71-year-old man was assaulted multiple times with a large knife and strangled, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Philip Randolfo, of Wiconisco, suffered cuts to his head, hands and feet when police report he was struck several times with a knife by Freeman Jason Walker.

The 49-year-old then strangled Randolfo and forcibly took his belongings, police said.

This incident took place around 3:15 p.m. at the 200 block of Center Street in Wiconisco Township.

Police charged Walker, of Wiconisco, with robbery, aggravated assault, strangulation, intimidation of victim, possession of a firearm, and several other charges.

He was arraigned before a judge and denied bail.
